SQUASH LEVELS & PLAYER GRADING

The Global Squash Festival uses the SquashLevels rating system as a guideline for tournament grading and division placement within the World Graded Championships. Hosted as part of the Global Squash Festival, the competition features separate Men’s and Women’s divisions and brings together players from around the world for a week centered around squash, travel, and community. All participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of competition.

*Indicative grading structure:

  • A Grade  SquashLevels 7000+
  • B Grade — SquashLevels 3500–6999
  • C Grade  SquashLevels 1500–3499
  • D Grade  SquashLevels 500–1499
  • E Grade  SquashLevels Below 500

Participants are guaranteed multiple matches throughout the event, with a minimum of five scheduled matches as the tournament is played through to the final placing positions.

*Grades are indicative only and may be adjusted based on entries to ensure balanced competition. Final grading and eligibility are subject to change at the organizers’ discretion.

* Indicative grading structure:

  • A Grade – Advanced competitive players competing at the highest club, regional, collegiate, or national levels. (SquashLevels: 7000+)

  • B Grade – Strong club and league players with extensive competitive experience. (SquashLevels: 3500–6999)

  • C Grade – Intermediate players who compete regularly in club leagues, local tournaments, and recreational competitions. (SquashLevels: 1500–3499)

  • D Grade – Recreational and developing players who play regularly and are building competitive experience. (SquashLevels: 500–1499)

  • E Grade – Beginner players who are new to squash or in the early stages of their development. (SquashLevels: Below 500)
